 and volunteers have been coming together to coordinate a family shopping d
 ay for those in need in Sarpy County. Families signed-up throughout the mo
 nth of November at various locations across Sarpy County. To qualify for t
 his program\, households had to reside in Sarpy County\, be low-income\, a
 nd have children under the age of 14 living in the home. This year\, nearl
 y 300 families are signed up for the big event this Saturday. Hundreds of 
 new toys\, games\, books\, clothing items\, and gift cards have been donat
 ed for the event. When parents arrive they will have the opportunity to sh
 op for their children for Christmas at no cost to the family – worry free.
